Advanced Integrated Sensing lab (ADVISE) is a research group from the Faculty of Engineering Technology (“Faculteit Industriële Ingenieurswetenschappen”) of KU Leuven at Campus Geel. ADVISE unites a broad experience in both hardware (design and testing of both PCB and integrated circuit implementations) and software (real-time processing and analysis of large multimodal datasets). This unique combination of expertise enables the development of integrated sensing and communication systems for many different applications including those that need to work in harsh (radiation) conditions or have extremely high reliability requirements.
Master thesis and PhD vacancies
Undergraduate students from our own and other campuses as well as from abroad are welcome to apply for a masters’ thesis at ADVISE. Applying for a PhD is also possible. If you are interested to build up experience in either radiation tolerant integrated circuits or applying statistical and machine learning methods on real-life data please contact us at advise@kuleuven.be.
